Survival Strategy Game Stranded: Alien Dawn Update Adds New Region and Character

A new update for Stranded: Alien Dawn has been released. It's a strategy game with survival elements developed by Haemimont Games, studio known for the Tropico series.

1. The patch added the tropical region of Saltu. The new environment is full of unique flora and fauna and fresh challenges. The place abounds with previously unknown threats, including the Xenoflora plague, and the heat and humidity negatively affect the longevity of food supplies and crafting items. The new region has two seasons - rainy and dry - with unique weather conditions.
2. The update also introduces a new character - Melody Adeyemi, a specialist in neuropathic medicine.
3. Gameplay improvements have also been implemented. With new Area Flags and Work Zones, we now have more control over where the survivors live and work.
4. Other new features include tools for survivors, including a survival kit, dust masks and signal flares.
5. Support for supersampling technology has also been added (it works on Nvidia, AMD and Intel GPUs).
6. The last big new feature is the photo mode.

Stranded: Alien Dawn is available on PC, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S and PlayStation 5, and the game has been warmly received - on Steam 86% of user reviews are positive.
