How to Get a Mech Core in Stranded Alien Dawn

In this guide we talk about mech cores in Stranded Alien Dawn. We will tell you how to get them.

Stranded: Alien Dawn is a well-liked survival game, similar in many ways to RimWorld, where you have to guarantee the survival of your colonists and construct a thriving settlement. The game has been released recently in its 1.0 version. It added some new features and mechanics. Players can now build mechs! However, to do that, it is necessary to gather mech cores. Many fans have some problems with collecting this precious resource. In this guide we will tell you how to get it.

How to Get Mech Cores

If you want to build mechs in Stranded Alien Dawn, you must have a mech core. There are two methods, which will make getting this precious material possible:

  1. You can find them – this option is available for all modes. You have to look for spaceship debris and scavenge them. Here is the seed, which will spawn some mech cores very close to the starting point: DUMA-KEY.
  2. You can crate them – it is possible to construct a mech core but only in Military Outpost mode. You have to research proper technology first (it is in Power section). Mech core costs 5 CPU cores and 2 Power cells and can be created thanks to a soldering bench.

So, as you can see, it is possible to find mech cores in all scenarios, but not in all you can construct this element. You need to remember that.
