Sunkissed City is New Game From Co-creator of Stardew Valley. Socialization Important Component

We recently described the upcoming game of one of the co-creators of Stardew Valley. The game, referred to as "Apollo City," now has its own card on Steam, along with an official title - Sunkissed City. Arthur Lee, alias "Mr. Podunkian," is planning to release his game in the fourth quarter of 2024.

The title bears a strong resemblance to the previously mentioned Stardew Valley, which isn't surprising given that Mr. Podunkian worked on updates 1.4 and 1.5 for that popular sandbox game.

Sunkissed City - socialization and co-op

In the game, we will move to Apollo City, and as an employee of the Pico corporation, we will try to convince the town's residents to join the ecological program "Peco Pioneer." We will meet the local community, form friendships, and engage in romances. We will also go shopping to customize our alter ego and decorate his apartment.

We also shouldn't complain about the lack of optional activities in Sunkissed City. In Apollo City, we will attempt fishing, gardening, or capturing photos of wildlife. Sunkissed City could become the next big thing after Stardew Valley, but the popular sandbox game will definitely continue to compete for players' attention. According to the words of its originator - Eric "ConcernedApe" Barone - version 1.6 will be released this year. According to the developer, this update has proven to be larger than initially expected, but its key components have already been finished.
