Sunkenland - How to Build a Safe Base
In Sunkenland, building a safe base will not only allow you to store your items but also provide shelter from mutants. In our guide we explain how to do it.
Sunkenland is a game where you fight for survival every day. Players must collect and make good use of everything they find on land and underwater. As in many other similar titles, you have to build a base to progress. However, it is attacked by mutants from time to time. In our guide we give useful tips on how make it safe.
How to build safe base in Sunkenland?
If you want to build a safe base, we have prepared some tips to follow:
- It is a good idea to start building the base with scrap metal. Not only is it quite common in the game world, but it is durable. Mutants will take a long time before they destroy such a structure.
- Place the foundations of your base on a large rock on the starting island. This will make it much harder for enemies to attack it. Make sure they can see the door, and place wall spikes near it so they receive damage when they try to enter the base.
- If you still have a problem with mutant attacks, a good place to build your base would be Trader's Island. They can stay in the water thanks to pontoons that block their entrance to the island, making it easier to fight them.
How to better deal with base defense in Sunkenland?
Opponents' raids on your base can hurt, especially if you are not well prepared for it. Here are some tips on how to deal with invaders:
- Do not upgrade your bench to tier 2 until you have built a decent base. Some players noticed that if you do that, attacks become stronger. Defeating them will be very difficult.
- A sign that your base is under attack will be the changing music. If it does so, watch carefully to see if there are mutants somewhere.
- Use spikes. Although you won't defeat all enemies this way, it will greatly help you to deal with melee mutants.
Opponents can attack the base even when you are not currently in it. The game's developers intend to nerf the mutants' damage when they start their raid and you are not there.
