Subnautica Devs Reveal Concept Art From Their New SF Strategy Game

Subnautica director Charlie Cleveland has posted a concept art online, announcing a new project by the team at Unknown Worlds Entertainment.

Unknown Worlds Entertainment, the company responsible for, among other things, publishing the popular survival game Subnautica, is working on a new, as yet unnamed project. It is to be a sci-fi strategy game, so something completely different from the aforementioned sandbox game. On the twitter account of the co-owner of the aforementioned company, Charlie Cleveland, we can even see a concept art from the mysterious game. It immediately brings to mind the atmosphere known from the post-apocalyptic Mad Max.

When should we expect the release? At this point I don't think even the developers themselves know. The work is, as for now, in the initial phase of development, the company is looking for artists who could take care of character and world design. Perhaps someone of you has the necessary skills and experience to try their hand.

His adventure with journalism began with a personal blog, the name of which is no longer worth quoting. Then he interpreted Iranian dramas and the Joker, writing for cinematography journal, which, sadly, no longer exists. His writing credentials include a degree in film studies, but his thesis was strictly devoted to video games. He has been writing for Gamepressure since March 2020, first writing a lot about movies, then in the newsroom, and eventually, he became a specialist in everything. He currently edits and writes articles and features. A long-time enthusiast of the most bizarre indie games and arthouse cinema. He idolizes surrealism and postmodernism. He appreciates the power of absurdity. Which is probably why he also tried soccer refereeing for 2 years (with so-so results). He tends to over-philosophize, so watch out.
