Stellar Blade on Action-Packed Gameplay Trailer. Premiere Coming Soon
At the State of Play show, Sony presented footage of the upcoming game Stellar Blade. Thanks to the beautiful trailer, we learn something about the story and gameplay from the upcoming „exclusive” as well as the release date.
As recently announced, we got our first State of Play show of this year. One of the games eagerly awaited by players that received new material at the event is the action RPG Stellar Blade (previously known as Project Eve).
In the several-minute video, we see many gameplay fragments, during which the main character, Eve, fights in areas overrun by monsters called NA:tives. The locations and character models look really nice in Stellar Blade - you can watch the discussed material below.
Stellar Blade will debut on PlayStaton 5 on April 26, 2024. It is worth mentioning that the developers previously announced that the game would be released in 2023. Let's hope that there will be no more delays.
In terms of gameplay, Stellar Blade resembles popular slashers. Observing the action from the third person, we use the protagonist's skills to get rid of hordes of enemies and bosses.The fights are fast and spectacular, and they are supposed to be demanding, so the game may be of interest primarily to fans of the Devil May Cry series, the first parts of the God of War series or NieR: Automata.
Stellar Blade is created by the South Korean studio Shift Up - it is their first such an extensive project. The game will run on the Unreal Engine 4. Details of the pre-release offer can be found on the PlayStation blog (prices and pre-order content).
