Original news
Today marks the next (and last this year) edition of the Steam Next Festival. During it you will have the opportunity to test several hundred demos and take advantage of many attractive deals. There will also be numerous streams.
The event will kick off today at p.m. CET and will last seven days - that is, until October 16. Traditionally, some developers have decided to get ahead of the event and made their demos available a few days earlier (partly on the occasion of the Australian PAX AUS convention). Of the more interesting demos already available for download, the following are worth mentioning:
- AaaaaAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!! Remastered - refreshed version of excellent arcade game by Dejobaan from 2009.
- Asbury Pines - an unusual detective strategy in which our task is to automate investigations.
- Neuroshima Hex - an adaptation of the popular Polish tabletop RPG.
- Polylithic - a survival game in which we try to survive in prehistoric times.
- RoboCop: Rogue City - a Polish FPS based on a movie license from the devs of the excellent Terminator: Resistance.
- Solium Infernum - turn-based 4X strategy about the war between demon armies in hell.
- Syncope - 2D metroidvania platformer.
- The Last Faith - a 2D pixelart platformer with a dark fantasy atmosphere that combines elements of the soulslike and metroidvania genres.
- Vlad Circus: Descend Into Madness - A pretty pixelart survival horror game that places as much emphasis on combat as it does on puzzle solving
