'Stay Tuned!' Hades 2 Didn't Need Long Testing; Game Will Be Released Soon After the Tests
We know when the technical testing of Hades 2 will end. The game of Supergiant Games is expected to debut in Early Access soon afterward.
Supergiant Games announced the end date of technical tests for Hades 2. This will happen on April 29 (Monday). The developers have once again emphasized that the sequel to the great roguelike will be released in early access shortly after. "Stay tuned!" - we read in the message. So, it is expected that the game will be available for sale in May.
It's worth noting that the devs were able to identify and resolve many technical issues during the tests, of which they were previously unaware. This gives hope that the early access of Hades 2 will go more smoothly than in the case of No Rest for the Wicked. The action RPG from Moon Studios was released in a rather average state, so instead of focusing on its development, the developers had to prioritize patching the game (it received its 5th hotfix a few days ago).
In other words, it's clear that Supergiant Games studio has experience in releasing titles in early access. After all, the first Hades also debuted in such a form, back in 2018. Before its proper premiere on PC and Switch, the first installment was developed for about 2 years. It arrived on PS4, PS5, XOne, and XSX less than a year after the release of version 1.0, and just over a month ago on iOS.
How long will the early access for Hades 2 last? How much will the game cost? Will it turn out to be as good as the first installment? We will probably find out about this within a few weeks. If you want to whet your appetite for this roguelike, it's worth watching the long gameplay recently showcased by the devs.
