Stasis devs launch new horror adventure Cayne for free
Creators of Stasis have just released their new game for free and put another one on Kickstarter. The former is a horror game called Cayne and the other a post-apocalyptic adventure Beautiful Desolation.
Cayne is an isometric horror game from the creators of Stasis, which has just launched on Steam for free. Yup, it’s 100% free, but you can buy deluxe content – including soundtrack, 4K wallpapers and the screenplay – for $5.24, which is a price temporarily discounted by 25%.
Set in the same universe as Stasis, Cayne lets you play as a young woman named Hadley, who is nine months into her pregnancy, when she wakes up in a horrid facility, where someone wants to take her baby from her. You have to help her muster all the courage she has and break free from this prison by solving all sorts of puzzles and facing horrifying monstrosities.
With Cayne out in the wild, The Brotherhood studio is already deep in the works on another project. This one is Beautiful Desolation, a post-apocalyptic isometric adventure game, which we wrote about some time ago. Beautiful Desolation is now live on Kickstarter, needing $120,000 from backers. Here is the first gameplay video from that game:
