Stasis devs announce Beautiful Desolation, a post-apocalyptic, isometric adventure game
The Brotherhood Games are now finishing the development of Cayne - a standalone chapter for Stasis, an isometric horror adventure game - and are moving on to the next project: Beautiful Desolation.
The creators of isometric science fiction horror adventure game Stasis have announced another project they are working on: Beautiful Desolation. This is going to be a post-apocalyptic point-and-click adventure game set in a distant future somewhere in Africa. Unfortunately, so far we know next to nothing when it comes to its story, with the exeption of the fact that it is to feature a male hero from another place and time. From the first trailer we can tell that similarly to Stasis, Beautiful Desolation is going to offer isometric view, but with much more colorful and nicer graphics. Beautiful Desolation is likely to hit PC, but there is no telling when. Its developers at The Brotherhood Games are planning to launch a crowdfunding campaign soon. We will probably learn more about the project then.
Speaking of The Brotherhood Games, we should also mention Cayne, a standalone extra chapter for Stasis, which tells a story of a pregnant woman trapped in the sinister research facility known from the original game. Cayne is currently in final development stages and is soon going to be available for backers, prior to worldwide release. Here is a new trailer:
