Starfield Virtually Bug-free - Leaks Confirm Xbox Game Studios Head's Opinion

According to Tom Henderson's sources, the upcoming Starfield will have very few bugs on release day. This coincides with the earlier words of Matt Booty, head of Xbox Game Studios.

The premiere of Starfield is fast approaching; the game is heralded as Bethesda's biggest game and, as some believe, will also be the most polished. This is confirmed by Tom Henderson's sources and the head of Xbox Game Studios himself.

"15 hours into the game and not a single bug".

A well-known industry journalist Tom Henderson contacted five people who have already started their adventure in Starfield. Among them was Tyler McVicker, also involved in gaming journalism. Although McVicker is not yet allowed to officially write about the gameplay due to the embargo, he still shares scant information on Discord - it is there that he stated that he has already played 15 hours and has not yet hit a single bug.

Still, this may be an isolated incident, so Henderson decided to reach out for feedback from other industry friends who have also started playing the game.

  1. Each of the people Henderson asked have different lengths of playtime on record, but their accounts have one common denominator - few bugs.
  2. Starfield players say that the number of bugs they encountered can be counted on the fingers of one hand.
  3. Most often they mention one, maximum two bugs encountered. Interestingly, most of them are already on the list of problems to be fixed by the first patch for the game.

Henderson points out in his text on Insider Gaming that feedback from just five sources is insufficient anyway. Whether Bethesda has indeed created a game with the least number of bugs on release day will only be judged by casual gamers, who will be able to start their adventure on September 1 (if they decided to purchase the premium edition).

The head of Xbox Game Studios mentioned a small number of bugs

Recall that Matt Booty, head of Xbox Game Studios, said back in June that Starfield will be the most polished game on release day in Bethesda's history.

"Our team of testers for Starfield is huge. While working together with Todd, I saw the counter of bugs detected, and looking at the numbers alone, I can say that if we had released Starfield today, it would be the least bugged release in Bethesda's history," mentioned Matt Booty.

It can therefore be said that Henderson's sources confirm Booty's earlier words. Let's hope, then, that other players will also be so fortunate and will not encounter bugs that interfere with gameplay.

Let us finally point out that Starfield will officially hit Xbox Series X/S consoles and PC as early as September 6.
