Starfield at the Xbox Showcase? Microsoft Confirms Presentation With Bethesda
There's a chance that we'll soon get to see Starfield with our own eyes. Microsoft has confirmed an Xbox game show, and a graphic advertising the event suggest a presentation of Bethesda's new IP.
Microsoft confirmed June's Xbox & Bethesda Games Showcase event. The presentation, which has been mentioned in numerous rumors, will take place on June 13, at 10 AM PT. The broadcast will be available on YouTube, Twitch, Twitter and Facebook.
Microsoft's announcement does not reveal anything more and in theory the above information could have ended this text. However, we must remember that the leaks talking about this event also mentioned the presentation of Starfield. Bethesda's new space project stirs a lot of excitement, but so far we know nothing about it. We're not sure if that will change in June. Jason Schreier reported that yes, the game will appear on Microsoft's conference, but it is still unfinished and we shouldn't expect anything like - let's say - a release date. Other sources provide different information: that Starfield is virtually ready, and if not for the delays caused by COVID-19, the project would have been released much earlier.
Please note: we do not have any confirmation of Starfield's presence at the Xbox & Bethesda Games Showcase. Unless you consider the graphic present in Microsoft's tweet as such. As noted by an industry analyst known on Twitter as Domsplaying, one part of the image comes straight from Starfield's first teaser. Just compare the planet shown behind the game's logo in Bethesda's material with the one visible in the lower left corner of Microsoft's graphic to see an identical body of water. Apparently, in this way the Redmond giant confirms the presence of Starfield at Xbox & Bethesda Games Showcase.
