Star Wars 9 - Colin Trevorrow's Script in Animated Form

An animation based on an alternative scenario of episode 9 of Star Wars appeared on YouTube channel Mr Sunday Movies. The video gives us some idea how the latest Star Wars could have looked like in Colin Trevorrow's version.

The fans have given Colin Trevorrow's vision life themselves.

Since the details of the alternative scenario for the ninth episode of Star Wars emerged, fans have been considering how much better (if at all) the ending of the third trilogy could have been in Colin Trevorrow's version. Unfortunately, there is no indication that there was an equivalent of Snyder's Cut for Star Wars: Duel of the Fates and fans were forced to take matters into their own hands. As a result, we got a substitute of this version in a video based on Trevorrow's script. Of course, the authors from Mr Sunday Movies adapted a satyrical and abridged approach. So instead of dialogues with actors we have only the narrator's voice and a ten-minute, slightly simplified animation on YouTube. You can watch the whole thing below.

It is doubtful that the work of Mr Sunday Movies will enable fans to forget about their disappointment with Rise of Skywalker, which also disappointed the reviewers and did not attract as many viewers as previous episodes. Besides, Trevorrow's version has as many supporters as opponents, even among those who have not been captivated by the ninth episode. Nevertheless, it is always a scarce consolation for all those who like engaging in what-ifs. Especially since the creators of the animation did not fail to insert a few malicious jabs at Disney's production, including references to the fate of one of the former Star Wars heroes.
