Star Citizen - Free Testing Period of New 3.5 Version
Cloud Imperium Games is celebrating the launch of the massive Alpha 3.5 update in its Star Citizen game with another free trial period. It will last a week, until 8th of May.
From today to May 8, anyone who wants to try out the Star Citizen space simulator has a chance doing so for free. That's how Chris Roberts and Cloud Imperium Games celebrate the release of the massive Alpha 3.5 update, and with it the planet ArcCorp, which is virtually one big metropolis with a jungle of skyscrapers. The game can be downloaded from its official website after creating an account.
The neon-glittering Area18 landing zone on the planet ArcCorp with its specific climate and NPCs is not the only new feature of Alpha 3.5. The authors have also introduced the ability to create a playable female character, a new flight model, previously unavailable options for customizing our avatar, in-game video chat enhancements and an artificial intelligence-controlled bounty hunter system that will now race against less righteous players. In addition, during the free week, there will be five models of spaceships available, more than 30 missions of all kinds, 10 moons to fly over, several base stops and other attractions.
It is worth remembering, however, that Star Citizen, which has been in production since 2012, has high system requirements, such as the minimum requirement of 16 GB of RAM, and its performance may still be far from ideal. If you have any problems, please check out the FAQ section. This does not prevent the production from doing well financially. So far, the creators have raised almost 225 million dollars from the players.
