Postapocalypse comes in different flavors. While we can distinguish many specific subgenres, the main ones referring to more-or-less modern times can be divided into eastern and western versions of postapo. While both have their groups of fans, not rarely intermingled, amateurs of the first vision will celebrate soon with the release of STALKER 2: Heart of Chernobyl. Developers from GSC Game World have been postponing the launch of this title for long enough and ravenous players count every day and hour till the premiere. Trying to sate their appetite for news about this event, we will try to find an exact hour when the next part of the Stalker series will become available to everyone.
Stalker 2 exact release time explained
Even though Stalker 2 Heart of Chernobyl won’t be available on PS5 (or will it?), players armed with Microsoft’s console can already preload the game. With the atmosphere surrounding the premiere day thickening, many fans wonder when they will be able to return to beautified (or uglified, depending on how we look at things) Exclusion Zone. We know the date well – November 20th, 2024, but what about the exact hour?
Sadly, there is no official time available. The creators haven’t shared the map with release hours which often happens near the launch date. However, on the Stalker’s account on X, there are daily posts being shared counting down to the release. What is interesting, is that they are always shared at the same hour – 5PM UTC, which translates to:
- 12PM EST,
- 9AM PST,
- 2AM JST (on November 21st, 2024),
- 6PM CET.
Why is it important? Many speculate that this will be the time when Stalker 2 becomes available to play. Bear in mind, however, that this is only a guess, and the actual launch hour may differ. Unfortunately, this is the only clue that we have, yet it seems plausible enough to cling to.
While the hype is getting sky high due to the approaching debut of this game, we must remember that it suffered many delays on the way, so waiting several more hours just to play should be way more bearable. Have fun!
