S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 Gets New Teaser on Game Engine
The team at GSC Game World released a new teaser of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2., which shows scenes prepared on the game's engine and reveals the name of the main character.
GSC Game World decided to end this year with a new teaser of S.T.A.L.K.E.R.2, a sequel of the popular series of post-apocalyptic FPS games.
The video is the most interesting material from this project so far. It contains a short FPS sequence and was generated on the game engine. Thus, the teaser offers a foretaste of how the gameplay will look like in S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2.
In the material we can see, among other things, the PDA 2.0 handheld computer, which we will use during the exploration of the Zone, as well as several locations that we will find in the game. The teaser also reveals that the main character will be named Skif.
According to the developers, the video is a good representation of actual gameplay. They promise that we will get gloomy locations, a large variety of environments and a constant feeling of danger, emphasized by a delicate guitar soundtrack.
Let us remind that the game is coming to PC, Xbox Series X/S. The title is set to be a 'XSX exclusive' at the time of release, which most likely means that the PlayStation 5 version will also be available after a while.
Unfortunately, we're still waiting for the new installment of the series. Initially there was talk of a release in 2021 in official material, but then this information was removed. So we expect S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 to be released in 2022 at the earliest.
