STALKER 2 Devs Apologize for Xbox Indie Showcase Confusion
STALKER 2 will be one of the games that will be shown during Friday's Xbox Indie Showcase presentation. Yesterday, the game's developers detailed what specifically we can expect, while also apologizing for causing a small misunderstanding online.
The day before yesterday, an information that on March 26, during the Xbox Indie Showcase, a new video from S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 will be shown, has appeared. On their Twitter account, the devs from GSC Game World specified that it will be only a short movie about the work on the title with some additional scenes from the game.
As it turned out, the video, which was to be shown next Friday, was accidentally posted on the Xbox official news page. The mistake was rectified very quickly, as the footage did not appear anywhere else, but the very fact of the leak was a small sensation. The devs apologized for raising hopes that more information would be revealed about the game and provided a couple of in-engine screenshots as compensation. In the end, they assured us that there are several major announcements planned for this year related to S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2.
The title is to be released on PC and Xbox Series X|S. According to the developers, the game is to offer mod support and a non-linear storyline.
