S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 Development Proceeds Smoothly

GSC Game World's Zachar Bocharow assured that the work on S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 is proceeding without major problems. Moreover, the creator revealed that a mysterious, but a familiar silhouette was hidden in the recent teaser.

Zachar Bocharow - spokesman for GSC Game World - reminded us again about S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2. In a post on the official Xbox website, he assured that work on the title is proceeding well on both target platforms (i.e. PC and XSX/S). He also reminded of the recent video, in which we see a blurry but suspiciously familiar silhouette hiding in the shadows. Players will recognise it as the mutant Burer, who gave scared them in the third instalment of the post-apocalyptic series (and apparently gives the main character a chair in the teaser). Furthermore, Bocharov once again confirmed that S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 will be available in Xbox Game Pass on day one.

Unfortunately, the entry didn't give us a release date for the sequel to S.T.A.L.K.E.R.. GSC Game World didn't even address the issue of removing the first information on the subject, suggesting the game's release this year. So we can only guess that we'll have to wait at least until 2022, which would be confirmed by the list of this year's Xbox exclusive titles. S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 will be released on PC and Xbox Series X/S. The PlayStation 5 version has seemingly been scrapped, but it's possible that we'll just see it much later.
