Bethesda is Preparing a New IP

Bethesda has renewed its trademark registration for Spyteam, suggesting that it is trying to announce a new brand by that name.

There are many indications that Bethesda is getting ready to announce a game called Spyteam. According to speculation, it is to be a multiplayer project.

Spyteam - what we know

Below we present all the information about Spyteam that we have at the moment of writing this news.

  1. The source of the reports is the application to register the "Spyteam" trade name that Bethesda filed in January this year. It was found by youtuber SKULLZI.
  2. We've heard about this project before - the first application was submitted in 2018. Now the rights to the name have simply been renewed.
  3. In 2018, it was speculated that Spyteam was a new project from Bethesda Austin, which included many employees previously involved in the work of the canceled multiplayer game BattleCry.
  4. For a time, Bethesda Austin helped with the development of Fallout 76, but job listings show, that in 2020 the team once again focused on their own project.

Unfortunately, for now it's hard to say when the game will be officially announced. In a few weeks Ghostwire: Tokyo will hit the market, the publisher of which is Bethesda, and at the end of 2022 the team is to release its own project in the form of Starfield. So it is possible that the reveal of Spyteam is a thing of distant future.
