Space Marine 2 Confusion; Devs Quickly Removed Message From Website
Focus Entertainment hastily removed information about PvP in Space Marine 2 from its website. However, there are many indications that the developers will officially confirm the mode later this week.
Developers of Warhammer 40K: Space Marine 2 have recently released a fresh gameplay, and now they may have probably prematurely revealed information that should please many fans of the series. Focus Entertainment's official website has posted the news that the upcoming Space Marine 2 is expected to offer a PvP mode - however, the publisher quickly removed the announcement.

Although the developers hastily removed the news of a PvP mode in the new installment of Space Marine, Internet users managed to take some screenshots. One of them is youtuber by the handle Chapter Master Valrak, who specializes in this shooter - in his latest video he accurately presents the course of events and shows graphics confirming the introduction of PvP and PvE modes to Space Marine 2.
"Fight for glory with or against your friends. Continue the story of legendary Marine Lieutenant Titus in an exciting 3-player campaign or play as a solo marine in PvE and PvP modes," reads the now-deleted announcement from Focus Entertainment.
The news of a PvP mode in the upcoming installment of Space MArine has also spread rapidly on X (former Twitter), where you can see many screenshots with the corresponding information from the developers; such a post was made by, among others Rebs Gaming.
Let's note that already this Wednesday (August 30) Focus Entertainment will present new footage from Space Marine 2, in addition to the trailer of Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden to be released on this day. It is probably then that the developers are going to officially confirm the introduction of PvP mode to the game.
Perhaps the upcoming video will also tell us the release date of Space Marine 2. So far we only know that the game should debut by the end of the year. The title will be available on PC, Xbox Series X/S and PlayStation 5.
