Sons of the Forest, a survival action game that is a sequel to the hit The Forest, received patch number 11, which introduces many new features and improvements.

1. The game features two new types of cannibals - Eddy, who throws spears, and Greg, who builds strange little structures near the player.
2. "Cave A" has been expanded, adding, among other things, a new object to find.
3. Mutant children can now be torn to pieces with explosions.
4. The electricity system has been redesigned. A new battery has been added, which is needed to power equipment at night. A limit has also been placed on the number of items that can be powered from a single source.
5. Solar panels can now be freely placed without the need for a support structure and can be connected to the power grid via wires.
6. An option to create slanted ramps in the building system has been introduced.
7. Sprinklers can now put out fires.
8. Families of cannibal nomads led by Frank (a fire cannibal) begin to appear after 8-12 days of play.
9. New tutorials on how to use electricity have been introduced.
10. There were also many bug fixes.

Recall that Sons of the Forest was released in early access in February, this year. The game is available exclusively on PC.

Sons of the Forest was met with a warm reception. On Steam, 83% of reviews praise the title, which is categorized as a "very positive" reception.
