Single-player LoL Game Will Launch Next Year
Today, a trailer of the single-player League of Legends game, called Ruined King: A League of Legends Story and announced almost a year ago, has been released. Thus, we got to know, among others, the approximate release date and target platforms.
At the end of last year, Riot Games announced one of the projects included in the Riot Forge initiative (the company's publishing franchise) - Ruined King: A League of Legends Story. After almost a year of waiting, the players have gained the opportunity to see the game's trailer for the first time, as well as to learn some details about it. The game will be released early next year on PCs (via Steam and Epic Games Store), PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S and Nintendo Switch. The trailer of Ruined King: A League of Legends Story, released today, can be wached below.
As previously announced, Ruined King will be a turn-based RPG for a single player. In the title we will play as the characters known from the League of Legends universe (including Miss Fortune, Illaoi, and Pyke), who will set off from the harbor town of Bilgewater and into the heart of the Shadow Islands to discover the secret of the Black Mist that surrounds them.
We'll have to wait for the next batch of game details, but we can expect quite a pleasant title. Ruined King is developed by Airship Syndicate, the studio responsible for the well-received Darksiders Genesis and Battle Chasers: Nightwar.
