Silence, Daedalic’s fantasy adventure game, coming November 15
Silence, Daedalic Entertainment point-and-click fantasy adventure game, is coming to PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One on November 15, the devs revealed. The game is being showcased at this year's PAX West.
Silence, a “picturesque Modern Adventure”, as devs like to call it, has just been confirmed to hit PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One on November 15. The game follows the story of two siblings – 16 years old Noah and his little sister, Renie – who’ve found themselves hiding in a shelter, separated from the outside world, trying to avoid the destruction raging around. Together, they set out for the fantastic world of Silence, where the power of friendship and love – not destruction – is what really matters. Yeah; anyway, you can watch an early stage gameplay below:
The game combines point-and-click mechanics with a variety of logic, environment-based riddles, with just enough arduousness to generate 12 hours of enjoyable playtime. Its 2.5D design – utilizing plain hand-drawn backgrounds and 3D characters – brings games such as Syberia and Still Life to mind, although with a bit more vivid, The Flame in the Flood-ish feeling to it (and less overall solemnity). When it comes to more details, the devs remain silent, probably because they want to encourage you to try the game for yourself – it’s being showcased at this year’s PAX West.
