S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl players have noticed missing locations in the game. Some have linked them to the upcoming expansions.

Potential locations for STALKER 2 DLCs

The thread was started on Reddit, where one of the players posted a game map, marking the missing areas in red. There are quite a few of them, and among them, we can find the second part of Pripyat, the city of Limansk, and the CNPP, among others. One of the commenters also added that the map is missing a location south of the Duga region.

Another user suggested that these areas may be reserved for upcoming DLCs, which seems to be a quite logical conclusion. We know that the game will receive two large story expansions, as this is indicated in the description of the season pass.

Interestingly, another user verified his statement by sharing a map supposedly from the developers, which reportedly leaked on the Russian platform VK. It shows the missing areas along with their names and three of them are labeled: "DLC: The Liman Secret," "DLC: Cold Island," and "DLC: Sand Plateau." It is unknown how reliable this source is, but it is possible that future expansions will take us there.
