Self-immolation, Cozy Base and More; Sons of the Forest Update is Here
Update 10 for Sons of the Forest is now available. In addition to removing some of the bugs, it introduced some improvements and features.
Sons of the Forest devs need to be commended for regularly rolling out updates to the game that add new content and fix known bugs. Patch 10 is now available and has introduced some improvements and tidbits, including a cannibal who enjoys hot atmosphere.
New features in the update to Sons of the Forest
While the update bearing the number 10 doesn't introduce any big changes, it does add something that players have been asking for for a long time: the ability to create corner ramps and connect them or roofs placed at 90 degrees. This enable us to create even more combinations when building bases. In addition, it is worth mentioning changes such as:
- You can now create stone floors.
- The ability to place deerskin on the floor has been added. Place it next to the fireplace and you will feel almost at home.
- A new cannibal has been added to SotF, which pours vodka and sets itself on fire when it is close to the player.
- The ability to display in-game subtitles has been added.
- Kelvin has gained new emotes.
- Cannibals can sometimes carry torches. At night, it will be possible to spot them better and politely ask them out of their home.
- Speaking of cannibals, some may be leaders that the rest will follow.
- Opponents will not automatically appear when loading the game during the night.
- AI has been improved.
- GPS navigation now has a marker indicating north.
- A bug that caused enemies to sometimes fall from the sky has been fixed. Shame, as this particular bug was funny.
- New sound effects have been added.
