Second Monster Hunter Wilds beta confirmed, but we'll wait until release for changes dictated by players
Capcom will once again let you test the beta version of Monster Hunter Wilds ahead of the upcoming release of this highly anticipated action game.
Players will soon get another chance to test Monster Hunter Wilds. Capcom has announced the dates for the second open beta tests of the new installment of the monstrous series.
Fans will be able to check out MH Wilds before the release on two dates. The first phase will begin on February 6 at 7:00 p.m. PT and will last until February 9 at 6:59 p.m. PT. Similar hours will apply for the second phase but during the period from February 13 to 16.
We know most of the content from the previous beta, but Capcom will allow test participants to hunt a new-old beast: Gypceros.
Monster Hunter Wilds will be released on February 28 on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S. Participants in the second beta test will get a selection of digital gifts in the full-game version, such as cosmetic items and an item package. Of course, it's necessary to run both the beta and the copy of the game on the same account.
Let's also remind that at the end of 2024, Capcom revealed that it is working on lowering the system requirements for Monster Hunter and other changes dictated by the opinions of participants in previous tests. However, we will wait to implement these fixes until the launch of the full version of the game.
