First Reviews: Scarlet Nexus - Action RPG From Bandai Namco Looks Good
First reviews of Scarlet Nexus have hit the web. They reveal the picture of a successful action RPG with a great combat system and an interesting world.
Tomorrow will mark the release of Scarlet Nexus, a Japanese action RPG from Bandai Namco Entertainment. A lot of reviews have already appeared in the web and it seems that the game will turn out to be a noteworthy proposal for fans of the genre.
On Metacritic, the PC release has an average rating of 81%. In the case of the PlayStation 4 version it is 79%, and 80% for PS5. The worst performance is recorded on the Xbox Series X/S edition with a score of 72%, but the platform has only five review scores for the game, many times less than the others, so the average may still change. For the Xbox One, there are too few reviews for now.

With a few exceptions most reviews give the game a rating between 80 and 85%. Praise is aimed at the excellent combat system with interesting powers, a fascinating world, likable characters and a good storyline. The scenario is said to be surprising, especially since the game's trailers did not reveal the direction in which the story develops.
The criticism mainly revolves around the lack of truly new solutions and the fact that the campaign clearly slows down in some segments. Furthermore, it is clear that this is not a high-budget production. The graphics look very good, but in some sections the devs recycle assets such as objects and enemy models.
Apart from these few problems, however, the game was liked by most reviewers. Scarlet Nexus may become another strong brand in Bandai Namco Entertainment's offer.
