Rumor: Xbox Series V is Microsoft's Third Next-gen Console
Twitter user Idle Sloth, who specializes in news related to the Xbox brand, suggested that Microsoft is working on another version of ninth generation console. It is to be called Xbox Series V.

This week Microsoft decided to reveal the cards and share information related to Xbox Series X and Series S. Thanks to that we got to know their release date, prices, and launch titles. Idle Sloth, Twitter user specializing in Xbox brand news, suggests that this is not all. According to the user, the company is working on another version of the ninth generation console. It is allegedly being developed under the code name Project Edinburg, and will eventually be marketed as Xbox Series V. This device is supposed to offer less power than XSX, but more than XSS.
Until the information is confirmed by Microsoft, Xbox Series V remains only a rumor. Theoretically, its existence is not entirely improbable. It is worth remembering that Microsoft and Sony released new versions of their eighth generation consoles several years after the release of the original versions. So it is possible that XSV is designed from this angle.
Xbox Series S and Series X will debut on the market on November 10, this year. For XSX we will pay $499 and for XSS, $299 (prices suggested by the manufacturer). Additionally, there will also be an All Access subscription option. Details of this service will be available soon.
