Rumor: Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order a Linear Single-Player Game
A leak has surfaced on the ResetEra message board, revealing a number of details about Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, the Star Wars game currently developed by Respawn Entertainment.
An extensive leak on the ResetEra message board revealed new information about Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, a game set in the universe of Star Wars, created by Respawn Entertaiment (known from the Titanfall series and Apex Legends). Its author, one user Nightlife, suggests that we will get a linear title. Thegame is said to be powered by Unreal Engine 4 and will not be a classic action game (at leats not an action game in the vein of Devil May Cry cycle). Its completion will take us much more than 5 hours.
According to the information from the leak, Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order will have a predifined protagonist. Perhaps Cameron Monaghan (known from Gotham and Shameless) is involved in the project. In terms of gameplay, the production will be a hybrid of The Force Unleashed, Jedi Knight and the Uncharted series. The way the characters move should satisfy players who like high-mobility characters (able to run on walls, for example). Interestingly, Nightlife also mentions that the combat system will evoke some associations with... Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice.
People playing Sekiro will be glad they are god like at parrys now, - notes the author of the leak.
It is worth recalling that all of the aforementioned information is unconfirmed rumors and this is how it should be treated, although some details seem strangely specific and detailed. We should learn more about the game soon - we know that it will be presented on April 13, during the Star Wars Celebration event.
