RT in Watch Dogs Legion on Consoles Corresponds to Medium-class PC
According to analyses of available game materials, the console version of Watch Dogs: Legion offers average quality ray tracing. At least when we compare it with the capabilities of powerful PCs.
The quality of ray-tracing in Watch Dogs: The Legion on consoles is roughly equivalent to an average PC equipped with GeForce RTX 2060. One Reddit user came to this conclusion after analyzing the available game materials.
Ubisoft's game runs on Xbox Series X in dynamic resolution, jumping between 1440p and 4K, depending on how much load the game puts on the console. The same is true for PS5. Ray-tracing reflections are rendered in 1080p resolution. All this at 30 fps. This is roughly the same as the average setting on a PC equipped with GeForce RTX 2060.
Xbox Series S, on which Watch Dogs: Legion runs in dynamic resolutions between 900p and 1080p, rendering ray-tracing reflections at 720p. Of course, also in 30 fps.
