Remaster of Rise of the Triad With Release Date; Demo Announced
We have learned the release date of Rise of the Triad: Ludicrous Edition, a remastered version of the iconic 1994 FPS. In addition, it was revealed that before it goes on sale, we will check out its demo version.
Rise of the Triad: Ludicrous Edition, a remastered version of the iconic FPS from the 1990s, got a release date. The title will debut on July 31, this year and will be available on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S and Nintendo Switch. Earlier, on June 19, a demo version of the game will be made available. Meanwhile, we can take a look at its new trailer.
Rise of the Triad: Ludicrous Edition is the fruit of cooperation between Nightdive Studios, Apogee Entertainment and New Blood Interactive. The item will be a remaster of the original game, developed using the KEX engine and based on the source code of the original. The title will offer 60 frames per second, classic pixelart graphics (albeit upscaled to 4K resolution), increased field of view, the ability to save the game in the cloud, and a set of achievements to earn.
The pillar of the game will be five story campaigns, which have been expanded with new episodes. The entire game has been enriched with extras and content that was cut from the original during its beta testing. In addition, the title will offer a multiplayer mode for up to 11 players.
