Riot Games Reveals Closed Beta Schedule of Valorant

Riot Games has announced the start date of Valorant's beta tests. We will get a chance to test the new team FPS with Overwatch-like heroes next week.

We will be able to check out Counter-Strike's new competitor next week.

In recent weeks, we've learned a lot about Valorant, an online shooter that is one of many (really many) new projects from Riot Games. Our editors already had a chance to get acquainted with the game, and soon you too will get this opportunity. The creators revealed the launch date of Valorant's's closed beta-tests, set for 7 April. To begin with, players from Europe and North America, among others, will be able to play, if invited. In order to have a chance to get the invitation, you need to have a Riot account and link it to your Twitch account, and then watch the game streams.

Just a reminder: Valorant will be offered completely free of charge with optional microtransaction that are not supposed to affect the gameplay. The debut of the full version is scheduled for the summer of 2020. You can also check out the game's hardware requirements in advance to make sure your hardware can handle the beta. More information about testing and Valorant itself can be found on the game's official website.
