Last Demo of Resident Evil Village Will be Available Longer
Capcom has extended the period during which the multiplatform demo of Resident Evil Village will be available. Instead of 24 hours, we will be able to test the title for a whole week.
This past two weekends, PlayStation 4 and 5 console owners were able to try out the demo versions of Resident Evil Village. These trials were only available for 8 hours each, without regard to time zones. This led to a wave of discontent among gamers. In response, Capcom announced that the latest demo of the game will be available longer than originally planned - from May 2 until May 10.
The demo of Resident Evil Village will be available not only on Sony's consoles, but also on PC, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S. During the trials we will be able to visit the areas of the village and Lady Dimitrescu's castle, already available in earlier demos. The title can be launched several times, but the maximum play time is just 60 minutes.
Resident Evil 8 is scheduled to debut on May 7, 2021. The title will hit the PC PlayStation 4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S.
