Remnant: From the Ashes Sequel Confirmed
Remnant: From the Ashes turned out to be quite a success for Gunfire Games. So, the devs decided to follow suit and announced a sequel.
Released in 2019 by Perfect World Entertainment, Remnant: From the Ashes will get a sequel. The developers at Gunfire Games announced the second installment of the series during The Game Awards. Its release will take place in 2023. The first part met with a warm reception and interest from players (more than 3 million copies were sold, and at one time Epic Games Store gave away for free 10 million copies of the game). Therefore, it is not surprising that the information about the next installment stimulated the interest and imagination of players.
First gameplay trailer
Gunfire Games presented a trailer of Remnant 2. The interesting video is filled with scenes of combat with various monsters. The footage also showed boss fights, which look extremely dynamic. The trailer is filled with action and keeps you in suspense. One must admit that gameplay in Remnant 2 promises to be stunning. The visuals are also eye-catching. Rich in detail, sharp and colorful scenery attracts attention and looks simply great.
Combat and progression
The first part of the series enables you to choose a class and upgrade weapons. In the sequel we will probably also come across these mechanics. There will also be rich exploration, including in search of the best possible loot. As you can see, the developer is by no means betting on a revolution, but only intends to expand the original premise.
However, there is no surprise here - the first part of the game was a success, and with this common-sense approach the new installment has a chance to repeat the good result. Published by Gearbox Publishing Remnant 2 has been announced for 2023. The game will appear on PC as well as current-gen Sony and Microsoft consoles.
