Company of Heroes Devs Return to World War II? Mysterious Stream on Twitch
Relic Entertainment will soon announce a new production. The creators of Company of Heroes have started a stream on Twitch, which will show a teaser of the upcoming game after 24 hours after launch.
The stream, which continues on the Twitch channel of Relic Entertainment, sparks a lot of emotions. The stream, hosted by well-known strategy game developers, is reminiscent of old newsreels covering battles during World War II. On the screen, you can see a countdown clock, which should stop tomorrow at 10:00 AM PT, at which point we'll presumably see the final broadcast. That's when we'll presumably also see the actual teaser for the new game.
Of course, we remember that the studio's probably most famous series, Company of Heroes, has not seen a new installment since 2013. The official website of the series is currently down. If we combine the with the on-going stream, we can get the impression that this state of affairs will soon change. It is possible that Relic Entertainment, since the release of 2017's Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War III, has been working not only on Age of Empires IV, which will launch on October 28, this year but also on the next installment of the WWII RTS series.
