Up to 50,000 People are Playing Ready or Not; Update 1.0 Spoiled Fun for Some of Them
Ready or Not has recorded a very good full launch. The game is achieving impressive results on Steam, although some players are complaining about the new technical issues introduced by update 1.0.
Tactical police FPS Ready or Not has left early access. The release of version 1.0 was a great success, although it was not without problems.
- The game set a new activity record yesterday - at the hottest time of the day Ready or Not was played by 51,535 players simultaneously on Steam.
- By comparison, the early access activity record was 19,621 people playing at the same time, and in the weeks leading up to the release of version 1.0, daily records were around 3-5 thousand players.
- The game clearly appealed to Steam users. Counting reviews from the last 30 days, 89% of them praise Ready or Not, which is categorized as a "very positive" reception.
- Players liked many of the changes introduced by version 1.0, with praise for the campaign, new equipment and improvements to the system of issuing commands to AI-controlled officers.
- However, the developers have not avoided some bugs. Some people complain about noticeably worse performance (which may be due to the introduction of a new lighting system) and frequent AI errors (for example, police officers can shoot enemies through the bodies of their comrades).
These problems don't spoil the overall picture and most players are happy with the release of version 1.0, but there's no denying that the game will need several patches before the developers can realize its full potential.
Ready or Not is available only on PC. The title can be purchased on Steam.
