Marvel's Spider-Man 2 Novelties Inbound, Including Mission Replays and New Game Plus
Insomniac Games is preparing a welcome update to Marvel's Spider-Man 2. The next patch will provide players with the changes they have been demanding from the developers.
We've been webslinging on the streets of New York City for almost two months now in Marvel's Spider-Man 2. If you thought that this game will not surprise you with anything anymore, wait for the next update - the developers have revealed changes and novelties that next year's update will bring.
Upcoming changes in Marvel's Spider-Man 2
Although the game by Insomniac Games received overwhelmingly positive reviews, it was missing some important elements. Players began to demand them after the release and first completed playthrough.
The developers did not remain deaf to the feedback of the fans and will introduce the desired novelties in the next update, which will be released in early 2024.
New update for Marvel's Spider-Man 2 will bring, among other things:
- New Game Plus mode;
- audiodescription of content;
- the ability to change the time of day;
- changing costume colors;
- a repeat mission function.
Possible DLC starring Venom
For some time there have also been rumors of a Marvel's Spider-Man 2 DLC starring the symbiote, the main antagonist of the second installment. These took shape when the actor lending his voice to Venom revealed that the game eventually used some 10% of the dialogue lines he recorded.
Perhaps this expansion will be similar in form to Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales; however, it is necessary to wait for official news from the developers on this matter.
Marvel's Spider-Man 2 earned quite a few nominations at The Game Awards, including in the category for best game of the year. Ultimately, however, the developers of the gane left the gala empty-handed.
Marvel's Spider-Man 2 made its debut on October 20 on PlayStation 5.
