Racing Wheel Manufacturer Suggests Gran Turismo 7 Launch in Q3/Q4 2021
Fanatec, manufacturer of steering wheels and controllers for racing game, included a curious information in its financial report, indicating that Gran Turismo 7 will debut in the second half of this year on PlayStation 5.
Gran Turismo 7 is the game that fans of virtual racing have been waiting for years. It's also one of the last chances for Polyphony Digital to prove that its games can compete with other leading series in the genre. Last year it was reported that GT7 was coming to PlayStation 5 in the first half of this year. According to information found by GTPlanet we will have to wait much longer before it is released.
In the financial report of Endor, the parent company of Fanatec, a leading manufacturer of accessories and controllers for racing game fans, we read that Gran Turismo 7 will launch in the third or fourth quarter of 2021. The company expects to see significantly increased sales during that time due to the arrival of a "blockbuster game" and the accompanying new line of hardware developed specifically for the PlayStation 5.
GT7 is very likely to be released this year. We must remember that the team at Polyphony Digital, renowed for its perfectionism, has been working on their latest title at a snail's pace for many years. Fans' expectations are extremely high, and it's hard to believe that the developers will be able to live up to them, especially as this is a PlayStation 5 game.
