Quantic Dream's Next AAA Game Will be a Humorous Fantasy
More information has emerged about the upcoming Dreamland, the new title by Quantic Dream. The game is to be based on The Dark Sorcerer demo presented at E3 2013.
- AccountNGT has released more information on one of Quantic Dream studio's three projects - Dreamland;
- He claims the game is to be based on the tech demo known as The Dark Sorcerer, released in 2013;
- The game will be set in a ridiculous medieval fantasy world, where the decisions made by the player will influence the course of the story;
- The project will be released on multiple platforms, including PC.
User AccountNGT has once again shared rumors about Quantic Dream on Twitter. According to him, the next of the three games the company is working on is a title based on The Dark Sorcerer tech demo from 2013. The rumor becomes even more significant if we take into account the previous reports by AccountNGT, mentioning a AAA title set in a medieval fantasy world.
If we believe the user, the next production from Quantic Dream will be more advanced than Star Wars: Eclipse, announced at TGA 2021. The game is also supposed to have humorous overtones, which fits with what we can see in The Dark Sorcerer. What's more, Dreamland is rumored to be a cross-platform game (also being developed for PC), which is another confirmation of previous reports.
We also know that the project is to be an interactive tale with a non-linear story, which means that we can expect a title like Detroit: Become Human or Beyond: Two Souls. We have to admit, however, that a more "comedic" game, based on player choices, sounds like a nice attempt to break the previous pathos and play on emotions, which Quantic Dream is known for.

While still a rumor, the above information was confirmed by the well-known insider Tom Henderson. A few days ago he also revealed the project's current title - Dreamland. Although the above should be taken with a grain of salt (like all rumors), the amount of information confirming each other is overwhelming.
