PS5's Reveal is Now the Most Popular Gaming Stream on YouTube

The Future of Gaming presentation took place on Thursday. During the presentation the appearance of the PS5 console was revealed. As it turns out, the event met with great interest from the community, and the broadcast from the show itself was the most watched gaming stream in YouTub's history.

The Future of Gaming enjoyed record-breaking popularity.

Two days ago, Sony's The Future of Gaming presentation took place. During the one-hour broadcast, we've seen not only numerous games aimed at PS5 and other platforms, but also the appearance of the console itself. The event turned out to be a huge success in terms of the audience and became the most watched gaming stream in the history of YouTube.

Information about the record beaten by The Future of Gaming was provided on Twitter by YouTube statistics manager Millie Amand. Additionally, she has also provided some other interesting facts about the stream. There were 1.5 million people waiting for the event 10 minutes before it started. The number of all viewers of the broadcast reached 7.32 million.

It should be borne in mind that these figures do not reflect the true scale of popularity of the event, as they do not take into account people who watched the recording of the presentation after the live broadcast. In addition, the show was broadcast not only on YouTube and some of those interested could watch it on Twitch.
