PS5 System Update Solves DualSense Battery Problem
PlayStation 5 and the DualSense controller got a software update. The list of changes introduced by Sony is short, but the update should positively affect the experience of owners of the company's latest console.
The latest update for PlayStation 5 and the DualSense controller, to version 21.01-03.20.00, doesn't really introduce any revolutions - neither in the interface of the console nor in the gamepad itself. Sony prepared a short list of changes. Corrections are aimed to improve the experience of daily use of the PS5.
PS5 and DualSense Update 21.01-03.20.00 Notes:
- Update improves PS5 system performance and DualSense controller stability;
- Fixes an issue where the functionality of some screens is reduced when using the screen reader;
- From now on, games hidden on PS4 will also be invisible on the next-gen console;
- Copying games from a flash drive to the device's memory in the game library is now more stable;
Particularly noteworthy is the note about improving the operation of the gamepad, which caused problems for players around the world since the launch of the PS5. As noted by users on Reddit, the bug regarding the controller's battery level display is no longer present. And that's probably the biggest plus of this update.
