IN A NUTSHELL:
  • Sony is unveiling a new color pattern for PS5 cases and accessories.

Sony unveiled a new case design for the PlayStation 5 and its accessories. Enthusiasts of militaria, possibly hiding their devices from view as early as October 14 will be able to adorn their console and DualSense controller in camouflage. Pulse headphones in combat colors will appear a little later - in December.

"The PlayStation design team has reimagined our camouflage pattern to give it a fresher, more contemporary feel. If you look closely, you'll notice that the iconic PlayStation shapes have been subtly incorporated into the pattern," Sony

In fact, when taking a closer look one can see button symbols from PlayStation controllers. The set of new colors will include PS5 console case, DualSense gamepad and Pulse headphones. Preorders for the camouflaged accessories will start on September 15.

As of now, you can take your PS5 headphones with you, for example, to an M1A2 SEPv3 tank and tell the Lt. that it's your fighting order. Admittedly, there is a chance that this trick won't work, but at least you've tried. Before the announced military colors enter the offer, you can buy PS5 or console accessories in several other available colors. Both official ones from Sony and unofficial designs.
