Project xCloud - Release Date, Game List and Controllers
The xCloud service together with Xbox Game Pass Ultimate will soon be launched on the global market. The most important titles that will be able to run on mobile devices, PCs, and Xbox were revealed.
A few weeks ago we wrote that the price of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate will include not only Xbox Game Pass, but also Project xCloud - a service that will enable us to play on PCs, Xbox, mobile phones and tablets with Android in the cloud. This information was confirmed today by Kareem Choudhry, vice president of Project xCloud at Microsoft.
The employee also announced that the service will launch on September 15, 2020 in 22 different national markets. These include European countries, North America and South Korea. Consumers will have over 100 titles at their disposal, such as Destiny 2, Yakuza Kiwami 2 or Grounded. We do not know the full list of games yet, but we can see the currently tested titles on the list below:
This is not all. One of the members of the Designed for Xbox team, Scott Weber, talked about devices designed to make mobile gaming easier (and more pleasant). Most of them are simply all kinds of controllers. For example, Razer Kishi is characterized by functionality and simplicity - it can be found in stores for $99.99.
A few solutions were also presented by another partner of Designed for Xbox, the PowerA company. The MOGA XP5-X controller will appear on the market on September 15 and will cost 69.99 dollars, MOGA XP7-X will be available this winter for 99.99 dollars and the price of MOGA Mobile Gaming Clip 2 will be 14.99 dollars. This one will also appear only in winter 2020.
8BitDo also presented its Bluetooth controllers and clips. These are SN30 (available in pre-order for 44,99 dollars) and 8BitDo Mobile Gaming Clips (available from September 21, can be pre-ordered for 14,99 dollars per unit).
SteelSeries designed special headphones. SteelSeries Arctis 1 will enable a smooth transition between fixed and mobile devices without any loss of sound quality. They can be purchased in selected stores for $99.99. Weber also mentioned Nacon, which is currently working on its own accessories created for mobile phones and tablets.
