The Witcher's Project Sirius May Get Cinematic Story and Community Events
Job announcements from CD Projekt Red provide some clues about Project Sirius. They suggest that the title will, among other things, offer us a non-linear cinematic storyline and community events.
It is likely that we have learned more details related to Project Sirius, an upcoming spin-off game set in the universe of The Witcher. They show, among other things, that the title may offer us a cinematic story campaign and community events.
These suppositions can be made based on job advertisements posted by CD Projekt Red. They indicate that the studio working on Project Sirius - The Molasses Flood - is looking for, among other things, multiplayer gameplay designers and narrative director. Next to each of these listings you will find a description of the tasks that the employee will perform. It follows that the game will offer:
- extensive networking features. Project Sirius is expected to be an action game and include a co-op option or community events;
- various character classes to choose from;
- multiple gameplay modes - including PvE;
- a cinematic and non-linear storyline with voiced over dialogues;
- "stylized visuals."
Additionally, a procedurally generated world was mentioned again. Reports that Project Sirius may include such an element, appeared already moments after the title was announced.
Of course, the mention in the job announcement should not be taken as an official confirmation that the element will indeed be in the game. However, we will have to wait a little longer for verified information, given that we don't even know the actual title of the game yet, nor its target hardware platforms (not to mention even an approximate release date).
