World Doesn't End With Pokemon; Game Freak Working on New Mystery Game
Game Freak, the studio responsible for the Pokemon series, has teamed up with Private Division. The result will be a new action game with the working title Project Bloom.

Game Freak, a studio best known for thePokemon series, has teamed up with Private Division, a subsidiary of indie game publisher Take-Two. The companies are working together on a new action game with the working title Project Bloom.
Unfortunately, at the moment we do not know any details about the gameplay or the platforms on which the game would be released. We can only take a look at the concept art attached above, suggesting that the game's action will be set in Japan.
Project Bloom does not yet have a set release date, although preliminary plans call for the title to be released in fiscal 2026, noting that it is expected to stand out from Game Freak's previous titles.
"We are very excited to create a new IP that is bold and different in tone from our previous works," said director Kota Furushima.
Game Freak is a Japanese studio founded in 1989. The team has produced such games as Pokemon Scarlet/Violet, Little Town Hero or Giga Wrecker. The last two items have also been released on PC and Sony and Microsoft consoles, so it is not impossible that a similar situation will be the case with Project Bloom.
Private Division, on the other hand, is a publisher founded in 2017. Thanks to this initiative, we got such titles as Rollerdrome, The Outer Worlds or OlliOlli World.
