Potion Permit: How To Increase Friendship

Potion Permit is a charming sandbox RPG in which you play the role of a chemist. One day you is sent to the heavily isolated town of Moonbury to help treat the mayor's daughter. Once there, you must convince the local community and help them with their ailments. Below you will learn how to make friends with the locals.

How do you make friends?

Before you can start building a relationship with individual Moonbury residents, you must first make a reputation for yourself. Otherwise, people will simply not want to talk to you. To earn the trust of the local community, you must heal the sick as soon as possible. If you fail to do so, at some point they will go to other cities for treatment.

Once you have established a good reputation with the entire township, then you can start building a relationship with specific people. You can do this in two ways:

1. By talking to a person every day;
2. By gifting the person with Moon Cloves.

The second option is definitely more effective. However, it requires an item whose availability is limited. You must also keep in mind that the relationship bonus associated with both of the aforementioned ways, works on the person only once a day.

If you fill up your relationship bar with a specific character, they will give you a task. You can unlock it from the message board located in the city. These missions are simple and limited to performing one specific action. For example, you need to deliver some items or go to a certain place at a certain time.

When you complete the task, you will advance to the next level of friendship and will have to repeat the steps described above. The maximum you can achieve is 3 friendship levels. So this means that you will have to complete four missions for a given character. For example, when trying to befriend Lucke, you will complete the following quests: Lucke's Story 1, The Bookworm, Lucke's Story 2 and A Sense of Responsibility.

Romance

The game also features 6 characters with whom you can romance. This option will unlock when you reach level 3 of friendship with the person. Their list is as follows:

1. Rue;
2. Martha;
3. Leano;
4. Reyner;
5. Xiao;
6. Matheo.

How to get Moon Cloves?

Moon Cloves are an item that you will acquire only in two specific situations:

1. By healing the sick residents of Moonbury;
2. Performing certain quests.

Apart from these, there is no other option to get this item. Therefore, you must think carefully about who you want to give Moon Cloves to and when.
