The holiday break for Christmas and New Year is over, and most people have resumed their regular activities. The same is true for Grinding Gear Games studio, the developers of Path of Exile 2, who announced their readiness to work on X. They also briefly mentioned what they plan to focus on in the near future.

This week, the devs plan to fix various bugs in the game. A slightly larger update is also being developed, named by the creators as the "restart patch," which led some fans to mistakenly believe that we will see an economy restart. The studio quickly clarified, however, that it was only about a server reset. Unfortunately, we don't know what this update will introduce.

Taking the opportunity, New Zealanders thanked the fans for their support, as yesterday marked exactly one month since the Path of Exile 2 release in Early Access. This is a good time to check how the game is doing in terms of player activity and ratings.

According to SteamDB, in the last 24 hours, at its peak, over 285 thousand people were playing it. This result can still be regarded as phenomenal, even though it is noticeably less than nearly 600 thousand on day one. However, it should be remembered that some players use a standalone game client. Regarding the ratings, PoE 2 has collected over 80,000 on Steam, with 81% being positive.

It's worth reminding that the problem with thieves is still relevant, and new people regularly report thefts on the forum. We can only hope that GGG will manage to do something about it - who knows, maybe it will happen with the upcoming hotfixes.
