PoE 2 devs have their hands full. Players sent 545,000 emails to support in two months
Path of Exile 2 players continue to flood the developers with reports, yet Grinding Gear Games studio has managed to deal with most of the more than half a million e-mails sent.
The developers of Path of Exile 2 are once again apologizing for their slow responses to player messages regarding issues in Early Access.
Grinding Gear Games studio has published a statement regarding technical support for the second PoE. Previously, the studio requested that fans refrain from submitting the same reports repeatedly, as the system handling these reports initially struggled to keep up with the volume, even after improving its efficiency.
The devs also hinted that they have intensified the recruitment of additional people to the customer service department and currently, this team has more than twice as many employees. And that's not all, the studio is already looking for more people.
The developer emphasized that these employees are responsible not only for player reports but also for moderating the in-game chat and the official Path of Exile forum. Moreover, it's estimated that this team is now "10 times busier" than ever before in the history of Grinding Gear Games.
For context: since November 22nd, players have sent about 545 thousand emails. At present, there are still 75 thousand remaining to be checked... yet, the number of reports is growing daily, and quite significantly. Hence the repeated request from the devs for players not to send the same messages several times.
Nonetheless, the developer admitted that players deserve better service than before and apologized to them for this "sluggishness." At the same time, they encourage players from their area to join the studio in New Zealand.
Let's remind that recently Path of Exile 2 received a major update.
