Players Appreciate Latest Expansion to EU4. Winds of Change Meets Expectations

Europa Universalis 4 received a new expansion. If Winds of Change is the game's last expansion, it will apparently be a worthy farewell to the title from Paradox Interactive.

The popular strategy game Europa Universalis IV has received a new, possibly last expansion. At least that's what the players speculated, but for now the only certainty is that Winds of Change is already available for purchase at the price of $19.99.

Just a reminder: this time Paradox studio focused not on one nation, but on three regions of virtual Europe. The main highlights of the expansion include revamped or newly added mission trees, new features for a variety of nations (such as Czechs, Germans, Aztecs, and Trebizond), including events and privileges, as well as entirely new mechanics.

So far, Winds of Change has "mostly positive" reviews on Steam (76%), although please note that at the time of publishing this news, the number of reviews was less than 100. It seems that the new DLC has been received warmer than the last additions to Europa Universalis IV. Of course, there are already complaints about new bugs (including one that allows for cheap expansion of Prague).

Let us also remind you that along with the expansion, the game received update 1.37 titled Inca. The update also introduced some new features to the base game (including the Leviathans expansion) and added more achievements to unlock. You can find the full list of changes in the developers' post published on Steam and on the official Paradox Interactive company forum.
