Microsoft Flight Simulator is an old and successful series of plane simulators, which started more than 20 years ago. Now we are experiencing the release of MSFS 2024. And we can say that it is not an easy start. Many players report various issues, starting with problems with downloading and ending on black screens and missing cursors. However, the problems does not end here. Many players can’t see the planes once they are in the game.

Planes not Working in MSFS 2024

MSFS 2024 has some technical problems. Many people have serious issues with launching the game. Some may think that once you are in, the situation will be better, but it seems that it is not guaranteed. Players also report that they can’t see various planes. So, how to deal with it?

For now, you can’t. It seems that leaving the game in hope of fixing the issue might be also not the best idea, as there are reports that if you do that, you might go through the process of unpacking once again. Not a pleasant idea.

The hope is that developers announced on X that they are aware of the issue of long loading screens. Resolving this problem will probably improve the plane issue, too. At this point we can only be patient and wait for updates. If you can, give the game some time. It will be probably better in a few hours. Keep in mind that there are not many AAA games that do not have issues at launch. It is saddening but still a reality.

While you are waiting, you can also read our article on MSFS 2024, as we had the opportunity to see the game in August. You can find our thoughts in this hands-on.
